There are two primary ways to connect your alpha sources to Shuriken. For most users, the Official Bots provide the simplest and most secure setup. For power users needing to access private groups, the “Bring Your Own Alpha” (BYO Alpha) method offers maximum flexibility.
We strongly recommend starting with the Official Shuriken Bots. They are purpose-built for security, simplicity, and respecting platform permissions.
Discord users — Before connecting a server, make sure your Discord account is linked to the Terminal. Click the Discord icon in the top header bar, or go to Profile > Integrations.

Invite the bot to your Discord server, authorize, and you’re done. No personal accounts involved.

The bot only sees what you allow it to see, operating within the standard Discord permission model you already know.

Get your community owner to install the official bot! It’s the de facto way to connect your group’s alpha and the best way to ensure everyone in your group can benefit securely.

Total Coverage
The system will process all messages from all joined servers/chats for signal evaluation.
Best for:
Power users with dedicated “alpha burner” accounts.
Accessing private alpha sources where bots are not allowed.
